DESCRIPTION

Flying all the way from the US to teach is Debra Rose — Master Trainer in Gyrotonic® and Gyrokinesis®, and owner and founder of San Francisco Gyrotonic®. Debra has worked alongside Juliu Horvath, the creator of the GYROTONIC® expansion system, to develop and implement a syllabus that continues to be used by thousands of GYROTONIC® trainers worldwide, and is delighted to share her invaluable decades of movement experience, knowledge and expertise.

This 3-day course, consists of a theory-based segment as well as a practical-based segment that assesses Gyrotonic apprentices' teaching skills and their understanding of the Gyrotonic Level 1 curriculum. To successfully complete this course, apprentices must demonstrate a proficient understanding of the exercises and principles in the Gyrotonic Level 1 Foundation Course syllabus. Additionally, apprentices must apply the appropriate verbal cues and physical guidance to an individual according to the Gyrotonic Level 1 Foundation Course manual.

Upon successful completion

Upon successfully completing the Gyrotonic Level 1 Final Certificate Course, students are considered Certified Gyrotonic Trainers, and are granted a trademark use license. Gyrotonic Trainers are required to meet continuing education requirements and renew their certification, and trademark license every two years. After successful completion of the Gyrotonic Level 1 Teacher Training Program, students are also eligible to enrol in Gyrotonic Specialised Courses, and Gyrotonic Specialised Equipment Courses.

Prerequisite: Successful completion of the Gyrotonic apprenticeship requirements. A minimum of six months must elapse between the foundation course and the final certificate course
