Beyond the Manuals Workshops - Hip & Knee
Objective: How to do physical activities with the right proportion effort from the hip, knee, and ankle joint to prevent unnecessary injuries?
Outline: The Hip joint is one of the most important joints for human daily activities, especially for active people. It allows us to walk, run and jump. But unfortunately, many people experience injuries from pushing their bodies too far to strengthen it or on the other hand, some people have weak and imbalanced muscles from lack of exercise which leads to other injuries. This workshop will help you understand how to exercise safely with the right proportion of strength in your lower part of your body, with a balanced effort from the hip knee and ankle joint.
As a result of participating in this workshop, you’ll be able to :
- Identify your lower body strength
- Know how to prevent hip and knee injuries caused by imbalanced training or strength in the lower part of the body
- Know what to do if injuries happen
- Know how to plan a balanced workout
