GYROTONIC® Level 1 Final Certification (Nov 2024)

DESCRIPTION

This 3-day course, consists of a theory-based segment as well as a practical-based segment that assesses Gyrotonic apprentices' teaching skills and their understanding of the Gyrotonic Level 1 curriculum. To successfully complete this course, apprentices must demonstrate a proficient understanding of the exercises and principles in the Gyrotonic Level 1 Foundation Course syllabus. Additionally, apprentices must apply the appropriate verbal cues and physical guidance to an individual according to the Gyrotonic Level 1 Foundation Course manual. 

Upon successful completion

Upon successfully completing the Gyrotonic Level 1 Final Certificate Course, students are considered Certified Gyrotonic Trainers, and are granted a trademark use license. Gyrotonic Trainers are required to meet continuing education requirements and renew their certification, and trademark license every two years. After successful completion of the Gyrotonic Level 1 Teacher Training Program, students are also eligible to enrol in Gyrotonic Specialised Courses, and Gyrotonic Specialised Equipment Courses.

• 10 Nov (Sun): 9:30am - 1pm, 3pm - 6pm
• 11 Nov (Mon): 10am - 1pm, 3pm - 6pm
• 12 Nov (Tue) 10am - 1pm, 2:30pm - 4:30pm

NOTES:

• Prerequisite:  Successful completion of the Gyrotonic apprenticeship requirements. A minimum of six months must elapse between the foundation course and the final certificate course.
